The Multi-Engine Rating (ME) is a pilot's rating that allows you to fly as the captain (PIC) of any aircraft with two or more engines. If you are an aspiring pilot, it is a pilot certification add-on that you need to enter the airline or increase the overall marketability of your aviation workforce.
Upon completion of the ground school theoretical education and flight training, applicants must pass the written exam and obtain at least 75% and pass the practical competency test of the flight examiner. If you plan to continue with your IR course, you can complete the Multiple Engine Pilot (MEP) Skills Test after your IR training to gain more experience in handling aircraft.

1. No knowledge test is required (if the multi-engine rating is performed as an add-on)
